Tilly in the UV from Thursday. We’ve been trying to catch him while he was in there so we were excited.
He played with this toy the entire time we were down there, waving it in his mouth, swimming around the tank dragging it, and dropping it and retrieving it.
I was disappointed that Trua wasn’t in there with him this time, they seem to have fun together. Hopefully next time.

Well I’m happy they are least giving him something to play with. I just hope he couldn’t swallow it or something. I hope a trainer was watching him.
But just because SeaWorld is actually recognizing his existence again doesn’t excuse the fact that they treated him like shit in the past.

Not a blackfish but I thought this something I should post.
Jesus fucking christ… that attack was quite brutal! The puncture wounds are awful. When are SeaWorld going to shut this attraction down? I’ve seen so so many photos of the same thing happening, it’s totally unsafe. It’s not just for the people but for the dolphins too. I remember when a girl dropped her iPhone in and the dolphin swallowed it. Ingesting foreign objects is so deadly and it happens a lot with that particular attraction. Not only that, but the dolphins can become very obese from over feeding. And they can become injured themselves from pushing each other to get to the fish. I could go on and on all day. I’m sorry pro caps, I’m not attacking you guys, I just think that specific attraction needs to either become banned or be seriously altered. (And yes, I know wild dolphins ingest foreign objects in the wild. Hahaha I’m defensive before being attacked!)
the parents: “oh, were not going to show anyone.” why are you filming it then? “because its important.” & then they make a negative news report. nice.
they do tell you to leave the white tray on the wall though, several times. & if they catch you holding it or if its up to where the dolphins can see it, you will be told to correct it. the dolphins know that food come in those white trays, & as soon as the dolphin saw one, he went for it. (note: they also say that for other foreign objects… they tell you to take off or secure your hats/sunglasses & make sure you arent holding anything out over the edge.)

SeaWorld encourages people to treat these noble, wild animals like they are pets to be kept in cages, begging for dead fish. They’re distorting reality to sell tourists a cheap thrill. This is stupidity.
